Insulated Cast Iron Skillet Handle Covers

I LOVE my cast iron! Seriously.  I spent hours reaserching how to take care of my first skillet!  My wonderful husband ❤ got me a nice set of cast iron for Christmas, so now, 5 months later, I am finally getting around to making insulated covers for the skillet handles!

I don't know about you, but there have been more times than I can count when I go to grab my skillet, forgetting that I need a hot pad (or usually a kitchen towel) and end up burning my hand.  Now I just keep my handle covers on my cast iron and problem solved!

All you need is cotton fabric  (a great project for leftovers), insulation, and bias tape! (For my free tutorial on bias tape click here!)
