Organizing Bias Tape Leftovers

I use bias tape in the majority of the projectsthat I make.  I usually make my own and end up with some extra pieces.  A lot of extra pieces actually.  Not that I mind because I am always looking for small projects that use up all my leftover scraps!  And more often than not I have so much leftover that I can use it in a bigger project.  The only problem was that my ever growing stash of bias tape was getting a little out of hand.  I just had a freezer bag that I would shove pieces into as I was done with them.... this quickly led to a tangled, wrinkled up mess.  I knew I had to do something, but what?  Then I remembered that I had some flat jewelry wire stuffed away in my desk.  Inspiration!
Today I'm going to share with you my method for keeping my bias tape pieces organized and neat!  (Sorry, I forgot to take a before picture)

Here is my jewelry wire (shiny!):
I cut  approximately 2" lengths and then folded them over my now neatly gathered leftover bias tape to hold the pieces together

And that's it!  Super simple, no pins to stick you every time you go looking for that one piece you KNOW is in there, and I got to use up my otherwise useless wire.... (I got it for a project, but ended up using something else instead)
