Upcycled Canvas Wall Hanging

I was given a set of three canvas wall hanging.  Two of them I loved and hung in my hallway, but the third one I was not crazy about, and the manufacturer had accidentally put the canvas on the frame up side down.   Time for a redo!

But what should I do with it? Then when I was organising my button collection the idea came to me; I could recover the canvas and make button initials for my son's bedroom wall!

This is a no-sew project, but I though I would share it with you anyway because it's super easy and a great way to use one of the random pieces of clutter laying around the house!
